The UGC mandates that all 3-year undergraduate degree programmes integrate 1–3 semesters of apprenticeship or internship, enabling practical exposure alongside academic learning. This aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP 2025) framework.
